PROGRAMME OUTLINE

This is an intensive training programme for operating (or near-launch) businesses seeking to integrate sustainability processes, approaches and compliance into their business models. It comprises of a series of high-paced online workshops that cover, among other, strategy design, transition planning, trends, regulation compliance and reporting, value chains and communication. Participants will gain essential knowledge and skills to navigate through the challenges and leverage the opportunities of a sustainability transition in their company, as they rethink business models, analyze dilemmas and examine best & worst practices.

  • 5 weeks of interactive workshops delivered by international trainers on developing an actionable plan for the sustainability transition of your company.

The programme is addressed to operating (or near-launch) SMEs / businesses striving to create the groundwork to accelerate their sustainability transition in order to embed sustainability in their processes, comply with new legislation such as CSRD, respond to market (and investor) expectations and/or attract the right talent (…and be on the right side of the economy and history in the very near future).

Applications will remain open until Sunday, October 20th, at 23:59 (GMT+2).

You may submit your application in draft form and edit until the deadline (see application form for instructions).

The programme will launch in November 2024. We will host weekly online workshops on the following days:

  • Monday, November 4th at 16:00-18:00
  • Monday, November 18th at 16:00-18:00
  • Monday, November 25th at 16:00-18:00
  • Monday, December 2nd at 16:00-18:00
  • Monday, December 9th at 16:00-18:00

Additional workshops, meetups or other activities may be scheduled during the week. All dates and times are subject to change.

FAQs

 

Who can apply to join SDG House?

Applicants must be existing ventures in Greece at an early- or more mature stage. Participants must speak English as the programme will be delivered in English.

What happens after I apply?

Once the application process closes, all applications will be reviewed. Shortlisted applications will be invited to join the programme.

Is there a fee to join SDG House?

Due to the amazing support of our donors and sponsors, our programme is fully sponsored and, therefore, there is no participation fee.

Is there a limit to the team size?

Yes, we aim to host only up to 2 members of a team in our programme to allow the workshops to be as interactive as possible. If your core team consists of over 2 members, please get in touch with us (info@sdghousegreece.eu).

Is SDG House looking into specific sectors?

SDG House accepts applications from all sectors, except ideas / businesses related to military products or services, gambling, tobacco or products / services illegal by EU or Greek law. Furthermore, SDG House does not support ideas / businesses that infringe the rights of third parties of any kind, and/or are contrary to accepted principles of morality, and/or whose implementation may jeopardize public order, the public interest or fundamental human rights.

I don’t live in Athens can I still apply?

This is an online programme and you may apply from any location within Greece. But meetups will be organized at our office premises in Athens. Participants are encouraged to join the meetups to gain from networking opportunities offered but this is not mandatory.
